In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth
was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.
And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
And God said, let there be light:
and there was light. and God saw the light, that it was good.
(Genesis 1, Bible, KJV)

.........it is the contrast of light and dark that so fascinates me in
my work.....on clouds, water, the face of a child......the wonderful
bright colors in the lights and the gorgeous hues in the
shadows........it is a never-ending joyous celebration......I make art
because, like breathing, I don't know how to exist without that process
thanks to a gift from He who made the light.
